What do we believe in?

Our values and beliefs

In some respects, we are traditional – for us, the classic ‘values’ that shape the way we work together remain of central importance.

That is why, together with all our staff, we have defined the following values through internal consultations and various workshops; these serve as the foundation for our day-to-day actions.

Sustainable behaviour, so that our children and grandchildren can continue to enjoy the world

Closely linked to our understanding of these values is the need to behave in such a way that we do not place a greater burden on the Earth than is necessary, so that future generations still have the opportunity to live their lives just as comfortably as we do.

To this end, we pay particular attention to the issue of ‘sustainability’ in our own behaviour, in the benefits we offer our staff, in the construction of our company building, and in our work in Tanzania.

Sustainability in Nufringen

We aim to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible.

That is why

  • the new company building was designed with a strong focus on sustainability
  • we have built downwards rather than outwards, providing space for both people and animals
  • we use a solar panel system, electric vehicles and a heat pump
  • our employees can choose between a private charging point, the Deutschlandticket and Jobrad.

Sustainability in Tanzania

We work closely, on a voluntary basis, with the Herrenberg-based organisation time2help, which sees itself as a provider of opportunities for children, young people and families. 

We recently launched a solar lamp project in which we support young football coaches in selling solar lamps, thereby helping to improve their own standard of living and that of their families. In doing so, we are helping families and the environment.

We are staying on the ball and continuing to look for new projects.

Sponsorships in Tanzania – Neema Charles

We round off our approach to responsibility & values by supporting a sponsored child in a Tanzanian orphanage, in close cooperation with the charity "‘time2help". In this way, we hope to make it easier for at least one child from a disadvantaged background to get a head start in life.
