Waveguide filters / RF filters
In RF measurement technology, an RF filter is a passive component that allows certain frequency ranges to pass through virtually unimpeded whilst selectively attenuating or blocking others.
Waveguide filters consist, for example, of precisely designed waveguide structures, resonant cavities, apertures or coupling elements. They are used to selectively pass defined frequency ranges and to suppress unwanted signal components such as interference signals, harmonic waves or frequency components lying outside the useful band. In this way, the relevant measurement signal is selectively routed and the signal quality in the measurement setup is improved.
What are the four classic basic types of radio frequency filters?
-
Low-pass (allows low frequencies to pass)
-
High-pass (allows high frequencies to pass)
-
Band-pass (allows only a specific frequency band to pass)
-
Band-reject (blocks a specific range)
Our portfolio comprises waveguide filters of various types. Our suppliers stock filter types for a wide range of applications.
