Probes

GGB's PICOPROBE® MODEL 40A and 50A are the classic test probes for RF testing and probing. Thanks to the new coaxial techniques, very low losses are possible. The test probes can be used up to 110 GHz (see table below). There are 13 adapters (mounting-styles) available for these models: T, C, GR, P, DP, EDP, LP, Q, F, S, DS, VP, or RVP depending on the type of application. Please contact us for more details. To order, please always refer to the following specifications: Model (eg. 40A)-Configuration (eg. GSG)-PitchSize (eg. 150)-Adapter (eg. P).

GGB also offers a Multi-Contact Wedge - DC to 40, 50, 67 or 110 GHz - a combination of RF and DC probe tips.

Waveguide probe tips cover the frequency range from 33GHz - 1.1THz. In the corresponding GGB Picoprobe© series, signal coupling is through a matching rectangular waveguide for each specific frequency band. The combination of coaxial technology and waveguide ensures very low loss and dispersion. Spring-loaded probe tips ensure reliable repeatability.

GigaTest Labs
microwave probes have excellent electrical characteristics and durability and are designed for a wide range of applications from wafer testing, package, BGA, PCB socket, backplane, high density interconnect and more, to Signal Integrity.

Single RF Probe (DX): a very robust probe, ideal for conventional device characterization;

Dual RF Probe: Unique design, it consists of two probes on one holder; one probe is fixed, the other is adjustable so that you can set the signal-to-signal pitch.

Deep Access RF Probe (DA): The slightly longer lever as well as the increased adjustability due to the design allows for example the rotation of the probe tip which in turn ensures great maneuverability.

The electrical and mechanical properties and key featres are listed in the table below.
